Daihatsus, which have been marketed in the United States only recently, tied with the popular Acura in positive recommendations from new car owners in a 1989 survey of customer satisfaction by J.D. Power and Associates.
The cars will sell for $6,500-$9,800, said Robert A. Hudson Jr., owner of the Pulaski dealership. The 20-year-old dealership, which has just built a new showroom for Daihatsu and Jeep/Eagle, also sells Chevrolet, GEO, Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge.
