SHE HAS REASON TO FEEL RUN DOWN

Rosalie Searles may be the luckiest woman ever to have been run over by two cars in one day.

Searles, 30, escaped without broken bones or other serious injuries early Thursday when she was accidentally run over, first by her husband, then by a fireman responding to the accident, state police said.

Both drivers were charged with driving while intoxicated.

Searles' misfortune began around 2:30 a.m. Thursday when she and her husband, Gary Searles, 37, were arguing in their car, according to a state police arrest report.

She had her passenger-side door open and somehow fell out onto the road, police said. Her husband accidentally hit the gas pedal and ran over her right leg.

She lay in the road waiting for an ambulance with police when the fireman, Eric Barnes, 22, drove around the police cars and ran over both of her feet.
