DENT, J. JUNIOR GLADE HILL - Mr. J. Junior Dent, age 73, of Route 1, Glade Hill, died Friday at his home. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vera Powell Dent, Glade Hill; three sons and daughters-in-law, Alton and Shirley Dent, Glade Hill; Donnie and Hazel Dent, Ferrum; Steve and Kaye Dent, Glade Hill; five grandchildren, Kathy Underwood, Jeanette Dent, Jeff Dent, Nathaniel Dent and Stephanie Dent; one great-grandchild, Michael Underwood; four sisters, Mrs. Doris Powell and Mrs. Lula Turner, Glade Hill; Mrs. Frances Pinckard, Collinsville; and Mrs. Thelma Campbell, Martinsville; three brothers, Mr. Willis Dent and Mr. Warren Dent, both of Rocky Mount; Mr. William Dent, Glade Hill. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Lynch Chapel by Elder Amos Hash, Elder Lane Carter and Elder H. W. Wray. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Saturday where the family will be from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m.
