LEXINGTON - Marian Lee Hollis Alford, age 65, died Friday, March 2, 1990, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. She was born in Gerrardstown, W.Va., on February 20, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Joseph William Hollis, Jr., and Cora Lee Morris Hollis. She was the widow of William S. Alford, Jr. She was a member of the Ebenezer A.R.P. Church and was retired from Crestar Bank. Surviving are one daughter, Libby A. Griffith, Marion; one brother, Joseph William Hollis, Jr., Lexington; an aunt, Mrs. Nettie Deaver, Lexington; several nieces and nephews and a host of beloved friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James M. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Harrison Funeral Home.
