LEXINGTON - William Colbert (Bill) Hostetter, age 84, of Rt. 2, Lexington, died Tuesday, March 6, 1990 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. He was born in Rockbridge County January 25, 1906. A son of the late Joseph Calvin Hostetter and Huldah Jane Hostetter. Mr. Hostetter was a retired construction worker with Echols Brothers and a member of the Pentacostal Holiness Church. Surviving are his wife, Emily Margie Dane Hostetter; six daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Nellie) Atkinson, Bedford; Mrs. Donald (Bertha) Brown, Salem; Janice DeAngelis, Springfield, Pa.; Mrs. Regie (Thelma) Schofield, Mrs. Donald (Minnie) Lavigne and Mrs. Pat (Brenda) Irvine, all of Lexington; four sons, Garlet (Sam) Hostetter, Pittsfield, Mass.; Dorman Hostetter, Jerry Hostetter, and Sylva Hostetter, all of Lexington; twenty-six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three step grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William A. Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home.
