OBIT WILLIAMS, C.

PEARISBURG - Claudine Williams, age 69, died Wednesday morning in a Pearisburg hospital. A native of Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Brackett Birchfield and Nora Ethel Williams, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pearisburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Courtland E. Williams. Surviving are one son, Freddie W. Williams, Pearisburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Carole W. and Sam Shrader, Pearisburg; one brother, E. Haven Williams, Pembroke; one granddaughter, Kimberly Lynn Shrader, Pearisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Pearisburg, with the Rev. John W. Wikle officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Williams-Jamison-Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke, from 6:00 to 9:00 Friday evening.
