Clarence Jack Hairston of 24 13th Street, S.W., died March 6, 1990. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Virginia B. Kidd, Roanoke; one brother, Raymond Muse; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Patterson; granddaughter, Jacqueline Raines, all of Roanoke; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter, Susan Vannoy, Roanoke; a devoted friend, James L. Scales, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Fizer Funeral Home. The Rev. James D. McCathan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fizer Funeral Home.
