MARION MAN KILLED ON HIGHWAY IN ARIZ.

A 49-year-old Marion truck driver was killed Sunday when he walked into the path of a car on two-lane U.S. 66 in Kingman, Ariz., a highway patrol spokesman said.

A family member said James Hatcher had stopped at a roadside truck stop shortly before the accident, which occurred at 5:40 p.m.

Hatcher, who was en route to California, died of massive internal injuries at Kingman Regional Medical Center at 10:05 p.m.
