CRIME LINE

A burglary at a lumber company in Vinton is the subject of this month's Crime Line.

During the late evening of Dec. 7, 1989 or the early morning of Dec. 8, 1989, McClung's Lumber Co. at 7 Walnut Ave. in Vinton was burglarized. A large number of circular saws, miter saws, jig saws, sanders, hammer drills and electric drills were stolen. Saw blades, drill bits and claw hammers also were taken.

Rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information that leads to arrest and indictment in connection with this and other crimes. Anyone with information may call 344-8500 and give the information anonymously. The caller is given a number that is used for identification and need not give a name.
