Radford, which has won 28 consecutive Big South games, won its fourth straight regular-season championship and had two players on the all-conference first team and one on the second team.
Junior guard Patrinda Toney, who played at Bassett High, and senior forward Karen Bowles were picked for the first team. Toney averaged 16.5 points and 3.1 assists, and Bowles led Radford with 8.8 rebounds per game.
Paige Cardel, a senior guard, was selected for the second team. She averaged 11.3 points.
Campbell's Tammy Brown, a 6-0 junior forward, was named player of the year. She averaged 19.2 points and 9.3 rebounds for the Lady Camels.
Augusta's Debbie Born, a junior center, and Coastal Carolina's Holly Bottar, a sophomore guard, were the other first-team selections.
