HANCOCK UNOPPOSED FOR PULASKI MAYOR

Mayor Gary Hancock will be running unopposed for a third term as mayor this year and eight candidates will be vying for four open seats on the Town Council.

Hancock, an lawyer, has served as the town's mayor since 1985, when he took over the position held by Raymond Ratcliffe, who died in office.

Andrew Graham, W.H. "Rocky" Schrader and James Neblett all will be running for re-election when their seats open this May.

Robert "Nick" Glenn, who is finishing out Pete Crawford's term on Council, will be running to fill a council seat.

Other candidates running include Pauline G. Mitchell, Charles Donald Crispin, Daniel Kyle Meadows and Edward G. Hinton.
