BLACKSBURG CHAMBER TO VOTE ON TRAFFIC PLANS

The Greater Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly membership luncheon at noon Tuesday at the Custom Catering Center in Blacksburg. Guest speaker is Margarite Fourcroy, executive director of the Roanoke Symphony, who will speak on the arts in Southwestern Virginia.

Members attending also will be able to express opinions on proposals presented by the Virginia Department of Transportation for relieving traffic congestion along the U.S. 460 corridor. A ballot will be taken and forwarded to the board of directors for consideration in endorsing a plan.

The cost of the buffet lunch is $5.75 per person, payable at the door. Reservations must be made by Monday. Call 552-4061.
