KRISCH AMERICAN INNS LISTS LOSS

Krisch American Inns of Roanoke reported a net loss of $1.05 million for the past year, more than the loss of $575,393 in 1988. The loss was blamed on a decline in occupancy, yet operating cash flow was positive and rates were higher, said Sam Krisch, president. The company said its sales of $6.5 million were down slightly from $6.7 million a year earlier.

Krisch American, a public company, owns all or part of about 15 hotels while Krisch Hotels, a related private company headed by the same principals, manages 38 hotels. These include Krisch American properties.
