OBIT SHEFFEY, D.

David G. Sheffey, age 53, of Roanoke, died Thursday, March 8, 1990, at his home. He was formerly of Beckley, W.Va. and was an employee of the Lancer Oil Company. Surviving are three sisters, Mabel Coltrane, Scottsboro, Ala.; Roberta Blake, Winchester, Ohio; June Tessaro, Eccles, W.Va.; one brother, Richard E. Sheffey, Shortsville, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Frank W. Feather officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Vinton Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
