BLACKSBURG TOWN COUNCIL

Blacksburg Town Council meets tonight at 7:30 in Council Chambers in the Municipal Building. The agenda includes four public hearings:

Amending zoning and subdivision ordinances to clarify provisions of planned development residential requirements.

Rezoning 28 acres on Ramble Road to planned commercial for Tekoa, a proposed treatment center for chemical dependency.

Amending the town code to adjust the tax for the E-911 emergency phone system.

A new transit route to serve Special Purpose Housing.

The agenda also includes:

A resolution setting forth town's support of alternative routes 3A and 6 from the U.S. 460 Corridor Study and the highway link to Interstate 81.

A resolution placing a Hubbard Street, South Gate Drive and Route 314 extension as third priority for road projects.

A resolution setting fees for recreation department programs.
