WILMINGTONN, N. C. - Mr. Gordon Lewis LaGarde, Sr., age 69, of Wilmington, died Tuesday at his residence. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, March 16, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Survivors are his wife, Doris of the home; two sons, Robert of Olympia, Wash.; Lewis LaGarde, Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Barbara Goines of Morganton, N. C.; Lorrie Wilkie of Hampton, Va.; Tricia Staton of Wilmington; three brothers, two sisters, including Anne Lemon of Roanoke, Va.; and eight grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice or the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends at 209 Sandy Brook Rd., Wilmington, N. C.
