`LONG WAY HOME' FACILITIES TO BE IMPROVED

RADFORD - The state has awarded a $30,000 grant for upgrading the facilities at "The Long Way Home" amphitheater. "The Long Way Home's" board of directors is asking for donations from local citizens to match the state's funding.

Plans are to enlarge the stage and stage house, build new restrooms and construct a new sign at the site of the outdoor drama.

Donations of labor, materials or cash will be accepted.

The project design is available for viewing at Architectural Alternatives, 2807 S. Main St., Suite 220, Blacksburg.
