CORNETT, DONNIE R.\ Donnie Ray Cornett, age 50, of Route 1, Vinton, died Sunday in a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, Linda Gray Cornett; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Dawn and David L. Alderman, Pilot; sisters, Bertha Lavin, Chicago, Ill.; Gracie Graybill, Vinton; Virginia Calhoun, Rockville, Md.; Alice Hatton, Covington, Ky.; Vivian Gray, Vinton; brothers, Billy G. Cornett, Vinton; Gene D. Cornett, Rockville, Md.; stepgrandsons, David Lee Alderman, Jr. and Britt Johnson Alderman, Pilot. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Michael D. Werle officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray Family Cemetery in Bedford County. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
