VA. LOTTERY ROLLS OVER TO $3 MILLION

No one matched all six numbers this week in the Virginia Lotto game, lottery spokeswoman Paula Otto said Sunday.

Otto said 2,000,485 tickets were sold last week. She estimated the next jackpot at about $3 million.

Otto said 68 people correctly picked five of the six winning numbers - 10, 15, 43, 31, 17, and 5 - and won $1,024 each. She said 3,343 people won $44 dollars after matching four of six numbers and 54,794 people picked three of six numbers to win a free ticket.

She said people who have consistently played the numbers 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 were among the winners of a free ticket since three of those numbers were winners this week. She said the combination is always one of the top combinations and was the second-most frequently played last week.

The state has had three jackpot winners.
