MENTAL HEALTH GROUP SEEKS HELP FOR HOSPITAL

The Mental Health Association of Montgomery County is collecting items for patients at Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute. Donors may deliver items to the association at 203 Church St. in Blacksburg.

Items needed include two videocassette recorders, hair dryers, sponge hair rollers, jewelry boxes, stuffed animals, watches and plastic picture frames. Also, patients need plastic coathangers and such decorations as posters and silk flowers.

Collection hours are 9 a.m.-noon weekdays, but volunteers will arrange to collect donations at other times with prior notice. For information, call 552-4531, 552-8553 or 382-3153.
