TOWN AND COUNTRY GARDEN CLUB MEETS

The March meeting of the Town and Country Garden Club was held at the home of Mrs. B.C. Horne. President James Faiszt announced that the Blue Ridge District meeting will be held at the Best Western Radford Inn April 10. Attending members should bring six small plants for a fund-raising sale.

Faiszt also announced plans for the Flower Show School II in Raphine.

Evelyn Sanders was elected to membership in the club and Mrs. C. Hardy Long presented a program called "Church Arrangements." Mrs. Long used an illustration of a cross made of nails designed by Dean Carter of Virginia Tech in her program.
