NEW RIVER PEOPLE IN BUSINESS

\ BARBARA BOARD of Blacksburg is among four young professionals from Virginia and Tennessee who have been selected to visit England as a member of a Rotary group study exchange team. The educational program of Rotary International Foundation provides travel grants to send people to other states and countries to promote friendly relations.

\ JEFFREY T. CRATE, DONALD O. NUTTALL and FREDERICK T.M. PRIBBLE have become partners and principals with Blacksburg's Draper Aden Associates.

Crate has worked for the firm for six years and serves as the director of the solid waste division.

Nuttall has worked with the firm for three years and manages solid waste projects in central and eastern Virginia.

Pribble has worked for Draper Aden Associates for three years and manages water, wastewater and land development projects.

\ JIM MCCRAW has returned to the area after 26 years and has joined his brother's Radford firm, McCraw Real Estate. McCraw graduated from the Academy of Real Estate in Roanoke and is beginning his new real estate career.

\ JULIA SCHULTZ has joined Petals 'n' Palette Florist of Blacksburg as store manager. She has a bachelor's degree in floral design from Delaware Valley College and has nine years of experience in floral shops.

\ LINDA J. HUFFMAN, a member of the Blacksburg office of Wheat First Securities, has been promoted to registered associate after completing the license requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission. She has six years of experience in financial services and will continue to work as an assistant to certified financial planner and financial consultant to Joel S. Williams.
