BUSINESS CLUB HONORS EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR

The Radford chapter of the Business and Professional Women's Clubs of America announced the winner of their 1990 Employer of the Year award and 1990-91 officers at its March.

The Employer of the Year honors employers who exhibit sensitivity to working conditions of women in the workplace. Montgomery Regional Hospital was named the recipient. A plaque honoring the hospital was accepted by hospital administrator Robert Fraraccio.

The group also elected officers for 1990-91 year: Ann Chrisman, president; Anne Lee Walker, president elect; Trisha Osborne, first vice president; Bonnie Whitt, second vice president; Regina Venn, recording secretary; Ora Wade, treasurer; and Helen Monroe, nominating committee chairwoman.
