AT&T OFFERS DISCOUNT FOR ONE-AREA CALLERS

If you've got a habit of calling one particular area code all the time, American Telephone & Telegraph Co. has a deal for you: a personalized discount calling plan.

AT&T unveiled a calling plan Monday that allows residential customers to save up to 23 percent off the cost of evening calls to one out-of-state area code. Calls to that area code during the day are billed at a 13 percent discount, AT&T said. - The Baltimore Sun
