START BY HELPING KIDS ALREADY HERE

READING the Feb. 28 article on the Roanoke Medical Center for Women makes me wonder what kind of God these people believe in.

The God I know is a non-judgmental one who, as far as I know, does not condone terrorist acts. Making the choice to have an abortion is a hard one, but also an unselfish one.

If these people want to help children, why don't they start with the abused and homeless who are already here, instead of wasting all this money to keep bailing themselves out of jail?\ A. HAGEMES\ ROANOKE
