SAMUEL CLAYTON WOOLWINE III of Blacksburg, recently was named to the University of Kentucky's deans list for the fall semester. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Woolwine II of Blacksburg, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Woolwine of Narrows.

GERALD ROBINSON of Blacksburg, has completed the requirements to become an accredited flower show judge. She has also been voted "Woman of the Year" in Blacksburg.
