'90 MISS MONTGOMERY TO BE CHOSEN SATURDAY

Seven contestants will vie for the title of Miss Montgomery County on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Christiansburg High School auditorium. The winner of the Miss Montgomery County Pageant will go to the Miss Virginia Pageant in Roanoke in July.

Those competing in the local pageant are:

\ Blair Gibson Bennett: Bennett, 19, is a freshman majoring in engineering at Virginia Tech. Her talent for the pageant is tap dancing.

\ Kimberly J. Fain: Fain, a 21-year-old senior at Virginia Tech, is majoring in marketing. She will sing in the talent competition.

\ Lesley Ann Gallimore: A senior at Auburn High School, Gallimore, 17, will perform a classical tap dance.

\ Christine Sheese: A sophomore at Virginia Tech majoring in hotel and restaurant management, Sheese, 20, will perform a poetry recital in the talent competition.

\ Rolayne A. Pannell: Pannell, an 18-year-old senior at Christiansburg High School, will dance for her talent presentation.

\ Virginia Vanessa Trost: Trost, 19 is a sophomore chemical engineering major at Virginia Tech. She will play piano.

\ Shelly Ann Mae: A 19-year-old sophomore attending James Madison University, Mae is majoring in business management. She will present a modern jazz dance in the talent competition.

The contestants will be judged in personal interviews, talent, swimsuit and evening gown competitions by a panel of three judges. Miss Virginia 1987, Heidi Lammi, John Clay Ford Jr. and Pam McGlothlin are the judges.

Admission to the event is $5 at the door. Advance tickets are available for $4 and may be purchased from Larry Langley, 961-2001.
