WHORLEY, SHIRLEY M. Mrs. Shirley Mae Wilson Whorley, age 53, of 3666 Ferncliff Ave., N.W., passed away in a local hospital on Monday. Final religious rites will be held Thursday evening at Jerusalem Baptist Church. The remains will be placed in the church at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The family will be there to receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral rites will be at 7:15 p.m., with Dr. J. Eugene Young officiating. Burial will be held on Friday at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Floyd, Va. The procession will leave the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Hamlar-Curtis Morticians.
