William Selton King, age 55, of Salem, passed away March 21, 1990. He was a supervisor for the Sanitation Department of Roanoke County for 27 years and was presently with V.D.O.T. He is survived by his wife, Marian V. King; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann K. and Eddie Bryant, Vicki K. and Shorty Walters, all of Salem; sons, David W. King, Roanoke; Jeff M. King, Salem; sisters, Frances Cecil, Salem; Mae Kingery, Chesapeake; brother, Glen King, Napa, Calif.; seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. Paul Henrickson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
