ECONOMY CONFERENCE MOVES TO WYTHEVILLE

A conference on effective education for the global economy, originally scheduled in Abingdon, has been shifted to Wytheville April 25-26.

All activities will be held at the Wytheville Holiday Inn, rather than separate locations in Abingdon. The conference is sponsored by the Southwest Economic and Educational Development Center at Clinch Valley College.

Registrations must be received by April 13. For the full range of activities including the April 25 banquet, the cost is $30 for the general public and $17 for students. For the April 26 seminars only, the cost is $10. People can register by telephoning 328-0133.
