LOCALES RECERTIFIED FOR GROWTH READINESS

Wythe County and the towns of Wytheville and Rural Retreat are among the first certified communities to earn recertification under a program of the Virginia Department of Economic Development.

Since the Wytheville area was certified, it has attracted Klockner Pentaplast, a German film company to employ 360 and sold two sites to expanding companies.
