Washington Redskins offensive lineman Mark May is facing a May court date on a charge of driving while intoxicated, police say.

May, 30, was arrested Monday by Fairfax County police and taken to the county detention center. He was released a few hours later on his own recognizance, according to a police spokesman.

It was the second time May, a nine-year veteran of the Redskins who was selected to the Pro Bowl a year ago, had been arrested on drunken driving charges. He was arrested in 1985 in Arlignton.
