THOMAS, THELMA C.\ Mrs. Thelma C. Thomas, age 90, of Roanoke, died Monday, March 26, 1990. She was the widow of Eugene E. Thomas, Sr. and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Victory Bible Class. She was predeceased by one son, Eugene E. Thomas, Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marie T. Ayers, Roanoke; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard C. and Millie S. Thomas, Burlington, N.C.; two grandsons, J. Melvin Ayers, Salem; Michael T. Ayers, Blue Ridge; two great-grandsons, John E. Ayers, Forest; Tim Ayers, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, with the Rev. Dr. C. Steven Teague and the Rev. James V. DeFoe officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Roanoke. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
