MCCLURE, CLARA G.\ MONTVALE - Clara Gray McClure, age 77, of Route 1, passed away Sunday, March 25 in the Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. She was born November 16, 1912, in Botetourt County, a daughter of the late Edward Horton Gray and Ada Callahan Gray. Her husband was the late William Loyd McClure. She was a retired school bus driver and was a member of the Montvale Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Overstreet and Joan Giles, both of Montvale; three grandsons, Richard Walrond, Walterboro, S.C.; Mark Giles and Todd Overstreet, both of Montvale; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Lantz and Mrs. Isabell Vaughan, both of Montvale; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 28, at 11:00 a.m. from the Montvale Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dewey Page. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
