BLACKSBURG CHEMISTRY TEACHER WINS AWARD

Julie Grady, a chemistry teacher at Blacksburg High School, has been named the area's Outstanding High School chemistry teacher by the Blue Ridge section of the American Chemical Society.

The award includes a certificate, a 1990 CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, and a $250 cash award.
