WHITTAKER, MARGARET F.\ NARROWS - Margaret Fillinger Whittaker, age 75, of Narrows, died Sunday evening, March 25, 1990. She was a lifelong resident of Giles County, was born August 2, 1915, and was the daughter of the late James Willard and Linnie Mae Cooper Fillinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Whittaker. She is survived by three sons, Waverly C. Whittaker, Narrows; Myron J. Whittaker, Pearisburg; and Jerry M. Whittaker, Narrows; one daughter, Linda W. Howard, Narrows; one brother, Hampton M. Fillinger, Pearisburg; and a half-sister, Ella Brogan, Beaver, W. Va.; four grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. in the Riffe's Funeral Chapel in Narrows. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows.
