MONTAGUE, ISABEL B.\
WYTHEVILLE - Isabel Bullis Montague, age 87, of Wytheville, and formerly of
Sunderland, Mass., died Saturday, March 24, in a local nursing home. She was
the widow of Guilfort Montague. She was born in Springfield, Mass., May 9,
1902, to the late George T. and Belle Tubbs Bullis. She was Music Supervisor
for Pioneer School District of Massachusetts, and was a member of Sunderland
Women's Club serving as President and District Director for the Massachusetts
Federation of Women's Club. She and her husband owned and operated Mount Toby
Farms in Sunderland, Mass. Upon her retirement she moved to Wytheville and
became a member of the Stuart Chapter of D.A.R. She is survived by one
daughter, Marilyn M. Harper, Wytheville; two granddaughters, Abigail Harper,
New York City; Amanda Harper Pittman, Fayetteville, N.C.; two grandsons also
survive. Graveside rites wil be held at Riverside Cemetery in Sunderland,
Mass. The Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
