REGISTRATION SET FOR KINDERGARTEN

Registration for children who will be attending kindergarten for the first time in Bedford County this fall will be held April 6.

A Social Security number, birth certificate and immunization record are required for each child. Registration will be held between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the school in their attendance zones.

Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30, 1990, to attend kindergarten during the 1990-91 school year.

However, parents or guardians can petition the school system for an exception if the child turns 5 after Sept. 30, but before Dec. 31.
