"We have not been told the goal or where we should be when this is all over," Marlow told the Town Council on Monday night.
Marlow said the Environmental Protection Agency has not been in touch with his office. He said he wants the EPA to give "periodic reports" on the cleanup being conducted under the Superfund law.
Vice Mayor Michael W. Kitts said he wants the EPA to take the council on a tour of the site to give the politicians a better idea of where the problems lie "so we can speak with more authority."
