FUNDS RALLY SET AT SALEM VA CENTER

A rally designed to create public awareness of the low level of federal funding for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salem will be held at the hospital Friday.

The rally, which is being sponsored by the American Federation of Government Employees, will be held at noon at the center's east entrance.

R. Jackson Powell, national executive director of the Paralyzed Veterans of American, will speak.
