PRESIDENT WILL SPEAK TO LIBERTY GRADUATES

President Bush will be the commencement speaker at Liberty University's May 12 graduation, The News & Daily Advance of Lynchburg reported in a copyright story.

The Rev. Jerry Falwell, the school's chancellor, made the announcement Wednesday night, the newspaper reported.

Graduation was originally scheduled for May 11, but was changed to accommodate the president's schedule, Falwell said.

Falwell said he first discussed the graduation with Bush during a visit to the White House several months ago, and made a formal request in January.
