OBIT SHELTON, C.

C. Mark Shelton, age 55, of Troutville, died Tuesday night in a local hospital. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Linda Lemons Shelton; three sons, Samuel Scott Shelton, Troutville; Charles Mark Shelton, Jr., Harrisonburg, Va.; John Matthew Shelton, Winston-Salem, N.C.; two daughters, Tanya Shelton Fanti, Roanoke; Tamara Shelton Crowe, Roanoke; six grandchildren; one sister, Betty Shelton Taylor, Catawba; three brothers, Quinn Shelton, Jr., Lanexa, Va.; Douglas H. Shelton, Odem, Texas; Sherrill L. Shelton, Staunton, Va. Funeral service will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 10:30 a.m. Saturday with Dr. Charles G. Fuller officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church, 515 Third St., S.W., Roanoke, VA 24016 or a favorite charity.
