RELIGION BRIEFS

\ THE DUBOIS CANTATA, "The Seven Last Words of Christ," will be sung on Good Friday, April 13, at West End United Methodist Church, 13th and Campbell Southwest. Choirs from of West End and of Virginia Heights Baptist Church, with Joseph H. Kennedy the director, will perform. Six instrumentalists and three soloists will participate in the 7:30 p.m. performance. A nursery will be provided.

\ WOODLAWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2922 Corbishaw Road S.W., has scheduled a special Good Friday presentation, "The Terrible Meek," on April 13 at 7 p.m. The one-act play for three voices is by Charles Rand Kennedy, an advocate of world peace early in this century.

EUCHARISTS IN EARLY CHRISTIAN STYLE are being held each Wednesday night in Lent at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, 2339 Grandin Road S.W. Services begin at 6 p.m. and are followed by a simple meal typical of early Christianity.
