ELIZABETH K. DAY has been elected by James Madison University to receive its 1990 High School Chemistry Teacher Award. Day, a 1966 graduate of Radford College, taught in Roanoke County from 1973-1985. She returned to the system in 1985 and teaches chemistry at Glenvar High School.
