WEBB, LAVINIA E.\ LYNCHBURG - Mrs. Lavinia Epperson Webb, age 82, died Tuesday, March 27, 1990 in Lynchburg, Va. She was a native of Abingdon, and she was the daughter of the late Bertha Rowe and Dr. Ernest Egbert Epperson. She was a 1933 graduate of St. Lukes Nursing School in Richmond, and she was a registered nurse. She was a member of the Abingdon United Methodist Church, and was the widow of Russell C. Webb. Survivors are two sons, William H. Webb, of Roanoke; Dr. Christopher C. Webb, Lynchburg; three brothers, Fletcher Epperson, Roanoke; Aubrey Epperson, Gastonia, N.C.; Egbert Epperson, Houston, Texas; two sisters, Ernestine Gaskins, Hopewell; and Madge Bia, Abingdon; four grandchildren. Farris Funeral Service of Abingdon, is in charge of the arrangements. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 1990 in the Knollkreg Memorial Park with the Rev. Clarence Dishman officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Planned Parenthood of Southwest Va. or to the Abingdon United Methodist Church. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
