OBIT-DUNAVANT, A.

DUNAVANT, ANN H.\ Ann Hittinger Dunavant, age 67, of Roanoke, died Wednesday evening, March 28, 1990. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, and was a graduate of Randolph-Macon Women's College. Mrs. Dunavant was preceded in death by a son, William R. Dunavant; and is survived by her husband, Preston P. Dunavant, Jr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Preston P. (Pete) and Terry R. Dunavant, El Paso, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jean D. and James T. Weber, Roanoke; Nancy D. and Mark L. Scheffel, Warrenton, Va. and Mary D. and John H. Tucker, Roanoke; eight grandchildren; and three nephews, F. Russell Hittinger, John P. Hittinger and Thomas J. Hittinger. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday from St. Andrews Catholic Church, with the Rev. Donald H. LeMay officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Andrews Catholic Church Building Fund. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
