HITE, ELLEN O.\ Mrs. Ellen Oakey Hite, of Roanoke County, died March 29, 1990 in a local hospital. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, the Republican Women's Club, and St. John's Lutheran Church. She was the widow of Richard Q. Hite. Surviving are a son, Richard Q. (Dick) Hite, Roanoke; a daughter, Jacqueline H. Marsh, Neptune Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, William J. Oakey, Salem; Jack L. Oakey, New Port Richey, Fla. Funeral services will be held at the graveside Fair View Cemetery, 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Mark Graham officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the building fund at St. John's Lutheran Church. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday.
