ROTARY CLUB TO HONOR EX-ROCKY MOUNT STARS

The Rocky Mount Rotary Club will recognize the surviving members of Rocky Mount High's 1929 state championship teams in basketball and baseball in conjunction with the Franklin County High School basketball banquet at 6 p.m. on April 2 in the west cafeteria of the high school.

Two members of the basketball team and four members of the baseball team, including one man who played on both teams, are expected to attend the event. The Rotary Club also invites members of the 1929 Jefferson High basketball team and Salem High baseball team to attend the dinner at the club's expense.
