2 INDICTED IN SLAYING AT WISE

Two Appalachia men have been indicted on capital murder charges by a Wise County grand jury for last week's shotgun slaying of a Big Stone Gap man.

Timothy Dale Church, 19, and Adam James Osborne, 20, were indicted Wednesday on 12 counts each and are being held without bond in the Wise County Jail.

Milton Eugene Wagner, 70, was shot to death in his home on March 21.

Wise County Commonwealth's Attorney Tim McAfee said Church and Osbourne on Tuesday made "extremely incriminating" statements to the police about their involvement in Wagner's death.

Wagner's body was discovered by his son, who was visiting from Florida and had not seen his father in about eight years, McAfee said.
