Azzi, a 5-foot-9 senior guard, has been named the Pac-10 player of the year for the past two seasons and is the Cardinal's all-time leader in both assists and steals and Stanford's No. 2 career scorer.
Two other Final Four players also were named to the team - Louisiana Tech's Venus Lacy and Auburn's Carolyn Jones.
Staley, a 5-6 guard, is the first Virginia player to reach the 1,000-point plateau in only two seasons.
Also making the 10-player team were North Carolina State's Andrea Stinson, Iowa's Franthea Price, Tennessee's Daedra Charles, St. Joseph's Dale Hodges, Stephen F. Austin's Portia Hill and Vanderbilt's Wendy Scholtens.
